Buying property in Phuket
Buying a home on the island starts with knowing what you want and finding properties that are genuinely available. This is how our team helps, step by step.
1.Start with your brief
Tell us your budget, the areas you like, the type of property and when you would like to buy. It also helps to know how you plan to use it — as your home, a holiday home or to let. A short form or a message is enough to start.
2.A shortlist of properties that are actually available
We suggest properties that fit your brief and check with the owner that they are still available before we send them. Every property on our site shows the date its availability was last confirmed, and anything not reconfirmed within 45 days is taken out of search.
3.Viewings
We arrange viewings at times that suit you and answer your questions about each property. If you are not yet in Phuket, ask us for more photographs and details before you travel.
4.Ownership and documents
How you can hold a property in Thailand depends on the type of property and on you, and the details matter. We do not give legal or tax advice. Before you pay a deposit or sign anything, have an independent lawyer in Thailand check the title deed, the contract and the ownership structure. We coordinate document requests with the owner so your lawyer has what they need.
5.From offer to transfer
We relay offers and questions between you and the owner, keep track of what has been agreed, and coordinate with your lawyer until the transfer is registered.
This page describes how our team works. It is not legal, tax or investment advice. Rules on ownership, leases and taxes depend on your circumstances — take independent advice from a qualified lawyer in Thailand before you pay a deposit or sign anything.
